Welcome to the DFPM Continuing Medical Education Homepage. Our goal is to provide quality CME and CE programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and physician assistants that are involved in Primary Care. We provide educational resources to over 45 different distant learning sites in Arkansas via interactive television, as well as live educational lectures here on the UAMS campus. To better reflect the needs of our audience, we base our programs on the feedback of our participants. This helps us to continually strive for excellence, and meet the challenges of the broad field of Family Medicine. DFPM-CME has been offering Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs since 1990 and has trained over 16,000 health care professionals in Arkansas and surrounding states. DFPM-CME’s primary goal is to offer high quality CME programs to primary care and emergency room physicians and other health care professionals such as pharmacists, nurses (advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses), certified health education specialists (CHES), social workers, and other allied health professionals.
